Overview

Games are the most powerful form of learning. In the modern era where experience is king, we are seeing a fascinating movement exploring social impact and educational innovation in the form of creative and interactive storytelling mediums, which will become the predominant form of impact messaging, education, awareness and mobilisation. In our Designing Games for Change programme, you will be working on your own innovative projects to submit to the world-renowned Games for Change Student Challenge - in an impact pillar, and a gaming medium, of your choice - to educate, inspire and empower.

Under the guidance and facilitation of our qualified instructors, you will go through the entire design process and ready a prototype for your own Game for Change. You will gain insights and best practices from industry experts and impact organisations on building great player experiences with a clear vision and roadmap for impact. Will you create a console game on homelessness? A mobile gamification platform on food resilience? A board game on the refugee crisis? Or maybe something else entirely? The only thing that limits you is your passion, imagination and appetite for impact.
