Week-Long Programme

Explore this magical time of year as we journey through a winter wonderland for a fun-filled week together. This course uses drama, games, story books, art to develop language skills with a particular focus on building confidence and communicating in English.

In Winter Wonderland students will:
● Explore amazing stories throughout the camp
● Use role play to explore topics and bring characters to life

This course is a great opportunity for your child to develop their communication and language skills. Through a range of engaging and fun activities, Winter Wonderland builds confidence in a number of skills which are required in primary interviews , such as asking and answering questions, interacting and working with others.

Winter Basketball Clinics

Ages 5-16 Years

ESF Tigers are offering basketball clinics to all levels of basketball playing ability.

For beginners/younger players we focus on the core skills needed to become a good basketball player. Dribbling the ball with your head up, being able to use the left and right hand. Passing, Catching, Shooting, and Footwork. All in a fun, challenge, and game based environment.

For more experienced players our coaches will help develop their fundamental basketball skills and basketball IQ using a range of different coaching techniques like blocked practice, serial practice, random practice, and deliberate practice, with varied levels of contextual interference (CI). We believe this mixed in with some constraint-led approach (CLA) training, and teaching games for understanding (TGfU) can help create a more free-thinking and dynamic player rather than a robotic one. All while keeping the energy, challenge, and fun levels high!

Winter Football Clinics

Ages 5-11 Years

Beginner Level 1 (FBCU7, Ages 5-6)

Designed for young children starting to learn football. Through fun games and activities, players will develop essential skills. It's ideal for kids with no prior experience.

● Engage in dynamic and imaginative football-related activities.
● Ensure each child receives a football to maximise ball contact time.
● Develop essential fundamental football skills.
● Introduce challenging activities to push boundaries.

Beginner Level 2 (FBCU9, Ages 7-8)

For students with basic football experience. This programme helps young players enhance their skills. It’s a great opportunity for children to learn more and practice specific skills, with one-on-one activities and small matches.

● Engage in 1v1 attacking and defending scenarios.
● Foster intrinsic motivation for both football and an active lifestyle.
● Strengthen the players' overall comprehension of football.

Improver Level 1/2 (FBCU11/FBCU12, Ages 9-11)

Designed for players with basic experience and looking to improve their football skills. It focuses on enhancing speed, quickness, and technical movements through fun and challenging activities.

ESF Explore - Swimming Clinics

Winter Swimming Clinics

Ages 3+ years

Beginner Level (SW1B to SW1A, Ages 3-7)
Sharks swimmers aim to achieve water confidence and awareness through repetitions over a consistent period of time. Children will learn breath control, floating, and arm movement, streamlined kicking, kicking on a board, submersion drills, reflex action, and survival skills. The coaching team teaches lots of kicking drills to develop a very strong “motor” for both freestyle and backstroke. Comfortable, well-balanced head and body positions are taught at the Beginner Level.

Improver Level (SW2 to SW2A, Ages 5-9)
The focus is also on short-distance drills to achieve straight arms, super-stretch freestyle and backstroke, and advanced deep water awareness activities. Correct side breathing technique in freestyle is now taught and now that children have perfected a streamlined head and body position. More backstroke drills and breaststroke kicks are introduced. The coaching team will slowly start longer distances with focusing on efficient stroke technique.

Advanced Level (SW3 to SW5, Ages 7+)
With a good foundation in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke techniques, the coaching team will introduce advanced stroke technique drills and start distance swimming. Butterfly skills and drills will be developed while race dives, turns and push-offs are further advanced. Maintaining an excellent stroke technique and introducing the squad works to be ready for the competitive level.

Winter Multi-Sports Camp

Ages 3-8 Years

Discover the perfect blend of fun and learning at our Multi-Sports Camps, where children can explore a variety of sports in a safe and enjoyable environment. Our programme is designed to cultivate skills, boost self-confidence, and ignite a passion for sports through dynamic, game-based activities.

Foundation (SC0, Ages 3-4)

Focus on enhancing fundamental movement skills while introducing essential sports-specific skills, laying a strong foundation for future participation.

Beginner to Improver (SC1-2, Ages 5-8)

Through engaging activities, children will explore both familiar and new sports, building their physical competence and self-esteem.

We will introduce your child with a socially positive experience, increasing their love of sport and improving their sporting skills all through the medium of fun and game-based development.

Our pickleball clinics are designed to be enjoyable, inclusive and effective. We aim to foster a love for the sport while promoting physical fitness and social interaction.

Beginner Level 1 (PBC1A, Ages 5-6)

Devising Drama - Showstoppers

Ages 8-12 Years
Week-Long Programme

Let your child take the lead! Showstoppers is a student-led devising drama course that builds confidence, creativity, and leadership in a supportive, dynamic environment. Students collaborate with teachers to create their own original drama, including story, characters, script, music, movement, and performance. The course culminates in an open class where students present their final performance and share insights into their creative process.

This programme immerses students in all stages of drama creation—from idea generation and scriptwriting to directing and performing—allowing them to explore different roles based on their interests. All students participate in a final, 30-minute performance.

Features:
● Students engage fully in the dramatic creation journey, from brainstorming and script development to directing and staging the final performance.
● Leadership opportunities arise as students guide discussions and organise activities, building responsibility and confidence in public speaking and group collaboration.
● The supportive classroom environment encourages risk-taking and constructive feedback, fostering creativity, adaptability, and resilience.
● Collaborative creation enhances critical thinking and organisational skills, while students gain confidence in articulating their vision and presenting ideas.

Children Dancing class

Day of Dance

Ages 8-11 Years

Students will explore contrasting dance styles including jazz, hip hop and k-pop, learning cool moves and tricks while dancing to their favourite tracks. The second part of the class will focus on choreography, where students learn a challenging dance combination designed to encourage their style and creativity, before presenting their performance to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a high-energy, physical class developing fundamental dance and movement skills, including the basics of coordination, balance and spatial awareness alongside more complex movements such as kicks, turns, leaps, floor work and tricks.
● Learn contrasting dance styles enabling them to explore their creativity and movement style, inspired by their favourite soundtracks as well as being introduced to new sounds and music styles.
● Dance as a group, in pairs and if comfortable individually, developing team-work and communication skills as well as confidence and presentation capabilities.
● Explore improvisation techniques to develop their own creative vocabulary in a fun and supportive environment.
● Through the learning, rehearsal and performance of a choreographed dance, students consolidate the earlier learnings in the class into a cohesive performance as a group, further building their confidence, team work and presentation skills.

ESF Explore - The Treble Makers

Singing

Ages 8-11 Years

Whether you’re a singing superstar or just starting out, this workshop is the perfect place to hone your musical talents. Led by our experienced singing teacher, students will spend the first part of the class refining their singing technique in a thorough vocal warm-up, before progressing onto breathwork, projection, scales and singing in the round. In the second part of the class, students will learn contrasting song excerpts from styles including pop, musical theatre and acapella, before progressing to learn a challenging performance piece to be presented to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a dynamic yet focused class incorporating the full spectrum of skills and techniques needed to develop strong singing skills and abilities.
● Sing as a group, in pairs and if comfortable, individually, developing their listening skills, musicality and confidence alongside performance skills and professionalism.
● Learn familiar songs alongside lesser-known styles to further develop their singing style and capabilities. Through exploring the use of harmonies and acapella, the students’ listening, pitch and projection will be challenged.
● Simple movement and performance techniques will be incorporated into the final performance piece, consolidating the learnings of the class in front of an audience.

Young Presenters

Ages 8-11 Years

Whether you’re a budding public speaker or struggling to find your voice, this one-day camp combines all the fundamentals for public speaking success in a fun and energetic format. Through engaging games, group and individual work, students will explore and practice use of the use of voice and body for successful presentation, including voice projection, pace and intonation, eye-contact, breathing, physicality, use of body and space, as well as relaxation and nerve-handling techniques. Students will then develop their own presentation on a chosen topic to present to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a challenging yet fun learning environment where they are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone to become a confident and successful public speaker.
● Through the use of interactive games and skill-building activities, students will explore and develop the key skills needed to present effectively, alongside tips and techniques to elevate their presenting skills to the next level
● Individual and peer-to-peer feedback will be given to tailor the learning needs and outcomes for each student, as well as encouraging reflective learning and improved communication skills in delivering constructive feedback.
● Alongside presentation skills, students will also learn about different types of presentations and how to structure their presentation information to reach the desired outcome. Use of case studies and examples will be used to further illustrate these themes.
● Prepare a short final presentation for an audience to be shown at the end of the class, consolidating the learnings of the camp alongside constructive feedback from the teacher for future development.

AI is a part of our future, from self-driving cars to entertainment recommendations. There is no better time to start learning how AI works! Students will use machine learning and code to develop and train their vision recognition system. They will also explore how machine learning can be applied to art, music, games, and digital assistants by programming AI projects. Students will also explore similarities between AI and how our minds work by studying the effects of bias and data categorisation.

Unwrap plenty of holiday fun at our Drop and Play sessions. While children engage in exciting activities, parents / guardians can take a break to shop or simply enjoy some well-deserved me-time during the busy holiday season. It’s the perfect win-win—kids have a blast, and you get to recharge!

Young Presenters

Ages 8-11 Years

Take the stage in our Young Presenters Camp. Whether you’re a budding public speaker or struggling to find your voice, this one-day camp combines all the fundamentals for public speaking success in a fun and energetic format. Through engaging games, group and individual work, students will explore and practice use of the use of voice and body for successful presentation, including voice projection, pace and intonation, eye-contact, breathing, physicality, use of body and space, as well as relaxation and nerve-handling techniques. Students will then develop their own presentation on a chosen topic to present to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a challenging yet fun learning environment where they are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone to become a confident and successful public speaker.
● Through the use of interactive games and skill-building activities, students will explore and develop the key skills needed to present effectively, alongside tips and techniques to elevate their presenting skills to the next level
● Individual and peer-to-peer feedback will be given to tailor the learning needs and outcomes for each student, as well as encouraging reflective learning and improved communication skills in delivering constructive feedback.
● Alongside presentation skills, students will also learn about different types of presentations and how to structure their presentation information to reach the desired outcome. Use of case studies and examples will be used to further illustrate these themes.
● Prepare a short final presentation for an audience to be shown at the end of the class, consolidating the learnings of the camp alongside constructive feedback from the teacher for future development.

Children Dancing class

Day of Dance

Ages 8-11 Years

Students will explore contrasting dance styles including jazz, hip hop and k-pop, learning cool moves and tricks while dancing to their favourite tracks. The second part of the class will focus on choreography, where students learn a challenging dance combination designed to encourage their style and creativity, before presenting their performance to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a high-energy, physical class developing fundamental dance and movement skills, including the basics of coordination, balance and spatial awareness alongside more complex movements such as kicks, turns, leaps, floor work and tricks.
● Learn contrasting dance styles enabling them to explore their creativity and movement style, inspired by their favourite soundtracks as well as being introduced to new sounds and music styles.
● Dance as a group, in pairs and if comfortable individually, developing team-work and communication skills as well as confidence and presentation capabilities.
● Explore improvisation techniques to develop their own creative vocabulary in a fun and supportive environment.
● Through the learning, rehearsal and performance of a choreographed dance, students consolidate the earlier learnings in the class into a cohesive performance as a group, further building their confidence, team work and presentation skills.

ESF Explore - The Treble Makers

Singing

Ages 8-11 Years

Whether you’re a singing superstar or just starting out, this workshop is the perfect place to hone your musical talents. Led by our experienced singing teacher, students will spend the first part of the class refining their singing technique in a thorough vocal warm-up, before progressing onto breathwork, projection, scales and singing in the round. In the second part of the class, students will learn contrasting song excerpts from styles including pop, musical theatre and acapella, before progressing to learn a challenging performance piece to be presented to an audience at the end of the class.

Students will:
● Engage in a dynamic yet focused class incorporating the full spectrum of skills and techniques needed to develop strong singing skills and abilities.
● Sing as a group, in pairs and if comfortable, individually, developing their listening skills, musicality and confidence alongside performance skills and professionalism.
● Learn familiar songs alongside lesser-known styles to further develop their singing style and capabilities. Through exploring the use of harmonies and acapella, the students’ listening, pitch and projection will be challenged.
● Simple movement and performance techniques will be incorporated into the final performance piece, consolidating the learnings of the class in front of an audience.
