Born and raised in Hong Kong, Coach Joe was an ESF student too! Growing up here, he was exposed to a range of different sports, and his passion further grew by studying Sports Science at university. Now, back with ESF Sports, Coach Joe’s goal is to transfer his knowledge and love of sports to the next generation.
Jonathan Fang is an Australian-born Chinese filmmaker who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film and media from Griffith University in Australia. He has been in the industry for over 10 years and has worked on numerous productions, including movies screened in cinemas funded by Screen Australia, as well as linked web series. He specialises in documentary filmmaking. Jonathan has received recognition for his work, including being the Director of Photography for the LinkedIn web series “SheStarts” Season 1, and serving as the Camera Operator for the feature film “Power Meri”, which had a theatrical release. He also won the Best Cinematography Award at the Oregon Documentary Film Festival for the series “Frontiers”, where he worked as the Director of Photography.
Kenny attended Northwestern University in Chicago and double majored in Economics and Business Management and double minored in Marketing and Psychology. While in college, he started a SAT tutoring company and interned at Deloitte Consulting. Following his internship, he worked full-time as a management consultant for Deloitte for three and a half years. His projects with Deloitte were primarily based in the Silicon Valley working on business transformation and expansion projects for companies like Google and Facebook. Now, he is based in Shanghai primarily working with international high school and college students on career planning, career coaching, business competition coaching, and IB/AP course tutoring.
Billy Tam is an architect turned entrepreneur in 5 idea-to-exit startups in fitness, retail, and food and beverage. He is currently the founder and CEO of Balloon, a children’s Mastercard debit card and app company dedicated to fostering financial literacy in the next generation. He is one of OWN Academy’s pioneer Industry Coaches and now the Director of Operations.
An engineer, film producer,, entrepreneur, and educator. In 2016, Natalie founded OWN Academy, an educational event management company that brings real-world learning into the classroom Natalie’s diverse achievements includes being selected as a Davos 50 Global Shaper, representing Asian youth to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, as well as being an Ashoka Changemaker x Change fellow in 2019. In 2021, she was awarded a Cartier’s Women Initiative fellow as one of 24 female entrepreneurs around the world making an impact with their work.
Aasavri ideates and develops products for global franchises in the toys and games industry.As an expert in product strategy, Aasavri possesses a keen eye for identifying and implementing product vision from inception to shelves. Aasavri is a certified practitioner of IdeoU’s design thinking. She holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial and Product Design from the School of Design, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she also shares her expertise as a visiting lecturer, guiding design students through real-world projects.
Mikkel is responsible for aligning clients’ creative and commercial strategies and building them into cohesive concepts and concrete actions. Mikkel has run diverse transformation programs for corporate, investment and startup clients alike. Clients have included HSBC, Cathay Pacific, Chubb and many more. Mikkel holds an MBA inLuxury Brand Management, from HEC Paris, a MA in Innovation from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, and a Bachelor in Sociology/Media from Hunter College-CUNY in New York City.
Rachel has extensive legal experience from roles at prominent Hong Kong law firms and organizations, including King & Wood Mallesons, Hugill & Ip, Simmons & Simmons, and PILnet. She has supported cross-border legal issues with Justice Without Borders and gained litigation insights as a mini pupil at Alan Leong SC’s Chambers, Bernacchi Chambers, and Parkside Chambers.
Amy is the Founder and Strategy Director of Drink Eve, where she launched Hong Kong’s first recovery soda to enhance urban well-being. Her leadership has expanded its availability in Hong Kong and soon across APAC. As the first Hong Kong Regional Partner of Hidden Disabilities Sunflower (HDS), Amy promotes awareness of hidden disabilities. Her work has been featured in SCMP, the Standard, and Tatler. Amy is passionate about promoting mental and physical health through innovative products at trend-forward social events.
Kash is a dedicated health and wellness advocate with extensive experience in mental healthand community health work. Currently serving as the Global Lead for Talent Accelerators at Standard Chartered Bank and as a Global Ambassador for Upschool.co, Kash passionately promotes mental health awareness and youth empowerment. With a rich history as a TEDx speaker and a community health worker, Kash is committed to enhancing well-being through education and advocacy.
Rishi,, is the Consulting Manager for Mandiant Services at Google, leading a team across Asia Pacific and Japan. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies on security advisory, attack simulation, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management. Rishi has received awards for best innovation and industry recognition, and has been featured in Reuters, Forbes, and SC Magazine. Rishi also speaks at cybersecurity conferences and is exploring Web3 and AI in education.
