Overview

In the English Evolution classes, we celebrate the mother tongue and use this as a supportive bridge and strategic tool to unlock and strengthen the students' English skills at their own pace.

Designed specifically for Bilingual Multilingual Learners (BML), this course transforms English acquisition into an active, collaborative adventure. From building foundational confidence through play-based storytelling in Level 1, to developing analytical reading, persuasive writing, and public speaking in Level 2, we guide students to become expressive, critical thinkers.
Upon completing the course, students will receive:
A progress report
A certificate
An Open Day session, during which parents are invited to join the last 20 minutes of the class at the end of the term

Active Presenters: Practise speaking clearly and confidently through group discussions, partner interviews and mini role-plays

Analytical Readers: Read and unpack more complex texts, such as information reports and persuasive texts, to discover how authors engage, inform and persuade their readers

Creative & Descriptive Writing: Upgrade their sentences and writing, using powerful adjectives, verbs and descriptive language

Problem Solving: Use critical thinking to discuss real-life scenarios, practising how to agree, disagree and elaborate on ideas

Multilingual Masters: Use their mother tongue as a bridge for research, creating multilingual vocabulary maps, and sharing unique phrases from their own cultures

ESF Explore offers various programmes suitable for all ages up to the Secondary level. Other than sporting courses and language studies, we have programmes for Arts, STEM, and Playgroups for young ones.
