Meet Ms. Kaesha: The Creative Soul Behind Our English Programmes

11th Dec 2025
Meet Ms. Kaesha: The Creative Soul Behind Our English Programmes

You can find Kaesha teaching Kindergarten, Lower Primary, and Middle Primary students across several of our locations, including Kowloon Junior School, the ESF Language & Learning Centre in Wan Chai, and our South Island School summer camps.

Ms Kaesha

Wearing Her Art
If you spot Ms. Kaesha in the hallway, take a close look at her outfit—there is a good chance she made it herself! Kaesha has a passion for fashion and loves designing her own clothes.

I absolutely love fashion," she says. "A lot of what I wear is something I’ve designed and made myself. It’s like wearing my own art! Each piece reflects my personality and style."

Whether it is a quirky dress or a stylish jacket, Kaesha puts her heart into her hobbies. This creativity extends far beyond the sewing machine; she also loves dancing, baking, and traveling. But her most unique talent involves her four-legged best friend. Kaesha is currently taking courses on communicating telepathically with her dog!

It feels like I’m becoming a doggy mind reader," she laughs. "Just the other day, I concentrated on asking, ‘Do you want a treat?’ and her tail started wagging so excitedly. I’m convinced she understood me!"

Creativity in the Classroom
Kaesha brings that same open-minded energy to her teaching. She loves ESF Explore because of the diverse mix of students who come together to share ideas and flourish.

Her teaching philosophy is all about flexibility. She believes that "breaking stereotypes" and stepping away from conventional styles is key to keeping students engaged.

"A lesson that doesn’t go as planned isn’t always a failed lesson," Kaesha explains. "In my years of experience, I’ve learned that following the lead and changing interests of students often leads to the most effective and successful outcomes."

A Funny Story: The Runaway Chair
Of course, working with children means expecting the unexpected—and sometimes, taking a tumble! Kaesha recalls one specific moment during a writing class that she won't forget anytime soon.

One day, while we were quietly focused on our recount writing, I went over to help a student," she shares. "Just as I was about to sit down, another student yanked the chair out for herself! THUMP! Down I went, right on the floor!"

While it was a startling moment, it quickly turned into a bonding experience. "Everyone was startled, but before we could even figure out what had happened, we all burst out laughing hysterically. It was super embarrassing, but I’m glad we had some fun! Now we always remind each other to watch out for those runaway chairs!”

Her Motto
Whether she is designing a new outfit or navigating a classroom surprise, Kaesha lives by a simple, powerful motto:

"Be exclusive, think outside the box, do what you do with all your heart and have fun!"

We are thrilled to have Kaesha’s heart and humor on our team!
