This after-school expressive arts class uses Dalcroze Eurhythmics as the primary educational technique to foster creativity, self-expression, and collaboration through music, dance, and drama. Dalcroze Eurhythmics integrates rhythmic movement, ear training, and improvisation to develop students' artistic awareness and confidence. Your child will explore feelings across multiple art forms while building and designing three instruments to keep — a painted rainstick, a ribbon ring, and a tambourine — each one a tool to express and focus their emotions.

In our sessions, there's no "right" way to create. Children move to music, play instruments, draw feelings, act out stories, and explore ways to share what's inside. The 6-week programme provides a balanced progression across music, dance, and drama to strengthen your child's expressive outlets, culminating in a mini-recital and gallery walk which welcomes parents, caregivers, and students for an engaging and impactful experience. Each child will receive a "You Are Seen" certificate honouring their unique voice.
