Overview

Building on Beginner Level 2, this class focuses on advancing the correct technique in speed, agility and quickness exercises as well as football skills. It is designed to be rewarding, and at the same time, challenging. This course serves a great opportunity to advance fundamental football skills by playing mini-games and match-like challenges. This programme concentrates on developing football-specific skills through fun challenges and training. At this level, coaches will use a variety of coaching methods and strategies to gently introduce football training to the students.

Experience attack and defence in 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 isolated game situations

To learn basic ladder/hurdle footwork

Fundamental SAQ movements technique

To be able to understand and stick to specific roles (defender, wide midfielder, striker, goalkeeper)

To acquire problem-solving in individual and group situations

Basic disguise (faking a pass or disguising the direction) and pass appreciation (weight of pass as well as timing)
