ESF Camps and Clinics Multisports Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for joining our ESF Explore Multisports camps.

We strongly recommend that you refer to Active or your registration summary for the start date, end date and exception/exclusion dates of your specific venue. A copy of the calendar can be found here.

We look forward to welcoming your child to our fun and active Multi Sports sessions!

General

  • Your child will recognise our coaching staff as they will be wearing our burgundy or white coaching uniforms.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the designated class time to avoid any delay.

Parents & Guardians

  • Due to health and safety reasons, parents are not allowed to be inside the venue except for SC0 classes (3-4 yrs) where one adult per child must be present.

SC0 Students Participants

  • Please be reminded that all SC0 participants must be accompanied at all times by a guardian (Parent/helper/relative) and that we cannot continue to allow your hcild to partake in the camp if your choose to leave them unattended.

What to expect…

  • Fundamental motor skill development work for children in groups
  • Fun games like hungry hippo’s and rob the nest
  • Team and individual settings
  • Lots and lots of FUN

Wet Session (Only available for SC1-4 classes at South Island School)

  • Wet camp includes a 30-minute water session every day, but previous swimming experience is not required – children will only engage in fun activities in the pool with the support of underwater platforms.
  • Please ensure that your child(ren) has their swimming suits, goggles, caps, towels, and a bag to keep their wet items separate from the dry.

Full-Day Camp Lunch Arrangement

  • Parents are expected to pack food for their children to bring to class every day – lunch delivery is NOT allowed.
  • There are no microwaves/refrigerators available, so something light and easy to carry, say sandwiches and wraps, for example, is highly recommended as there is a sports session after lunch.
  • Children will be having lunch in a designated area supervised by teachers between 12 noon and 1 pm. There will be breaks during class, parents may prepare snacks for their children.

Food & Beverage

  • No food or drink is allowed to be consumed in the gymnasium/sports halls. The staff will ensure that all children are taken to a safe and dry area for breaks. We suggest students consume food at least 1 hour before the start of the lesson.

Photography

  • Please understand that we, at ESF Sports, understand the joy and happiness your child(ren) brings to your lives and this is always enhanced when you can capture the moment through photography. However, policies are in place to protect you and every child in the clinics. Please read our Photo/Video Policy on taking photos/videos during the duration of the programmes.

Venue Equipment

  • The venue where your child will be attending the clinic is a complex location, which means that all attendees, parents. helpers, friends and siblings alike are not permitted to play on any site’s equipment before, during or after the class unless it is during a supervised class time and is part of the programme. Please can we ask that you respect the site’s wishes, so that we may continue to provide classes for many years to come in these wonderful venues throughout Hong Kong.

Weather Policy

  • In accordance with the guidelines of the EDB and Hong Kong Observatory, sessions will be cancelled in the event of adverse weather conditions. Please familiarise yourself with our weather policy which can be found here.
  • In the event of an unsafe environment caused by inclement weather, sessions will be cancelled and no make-up, refund or credit will be issued.
