Lunch Arrangement
Parents are expected to pack food for their children to bring to class every day, as lunch delivery is NOT permitted. Please note that NO microwaves / refrigerators / canteen or vending machines available. We highly recommend packing a light and easy-to-carry meal—such as sandwiches, wraps, or food in a thermal container—as students will have a sports session immediately after lunch. Children will eat in a supervised designated area between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
A water dispenser is available for refilling bottles (room-temperature water only; NO hot water). We suggest packing snacks for both the morning and afternoon breaks.

Please ensure your child brings daily:
• A packed lunch
• Snacks for morning and afternoon breaks
• A reusable water bottle

Please note that enrolment for each weekly camp session closes at 12:00 pm, and bus service enrolment at 11:00 am, on the Friday before that week begins.

What does a wet camp look like?

Here is an example of a wet session:
Duration: 40 mins

The aim of a wet sessions is to

  1. Motivate student’s interest in Water Sports
  2. Develop social skills with water activities
  3. Build water life-saving knowledge
You don't have to worry about whether you have experience in swimming or not, just enjoy the water fun and splash on!

*Wet camp (water play session included) is available at Island School and Renaissance College, whereas Dry camps at other locations do not include any water session. Wet camp includes a 40-minute water session everyday, but previous swimming experience is not required - children will only engage in fun activities in the pool with the support of underwater platforms. Children will need to change into their swimwear for the water session as they will be entering the pool everyday. Please prepare a swimwear, swimming cap, google and towels to bring to class.

Junior Tech Heroes: Minecraft Rescue Squad

Ages 6-8 Years

In this Minecraft course, kids team up in small “Junior Squads” to build adventure levels instead of just playing them.

Students choose fun roles like Producer, Environment Artist, or Engineer as they design “Interaction Ports” that light up, open doors, and trigger surprises when players move, press buttons, or talk to characters. Using a simple “Plan–Build–Test” loop, they sketch ideas, build them in Minecraft, and then test them with friends.

At the end of course, each Squad shows off its level in a “”mini studio”” show-and-tell, explaining how they helped save The Grid. Perfect for young Minecraft fans who love stories, building, and working with friends.

The course fee includes a 1-year Minecraft account license.

Students require to bring their own Laptop and charges (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]

STEM

MakeCode Arcade II: The Digital Alchemist's Nexus

Ages 6-8 Years

This course reimagines the alchemist as a digital pioneer in a futuristic, cyberpunk city. Instead of transmuting metals, this alchemist uses code to solve global problems, turning abstract concepts into interactive games and digital art.

The curriculum merges STEAM principles, using the “art” of game design and narrative to explore complex scientific and societal topics. Each lesson is a “”formula”” or “”recipe”” for a game that addresses a real-world issue, from climate change to social equity. The course’s narrative is a hero’s journey where students create a portfolio of games designed to “”heal”” their digital world.

Students need to prepare their Laptop (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]. iPad is also applicable.

STEM

AI Hero Makers: Create Your Own Game

Ages 6-8 Years

Every game starts with an idea… What’s yours? In this adventure, you are a Hero Makers! Use AI magic to design everything for your dream game: brave heroes, funny sidekicks, scary monsters, magic potions, and secret worlds. You design it all!

  • Invent your own unique game characters and see them appear on screen.
  • Design awesome items for your game, like glowing swords, super-fast cars, and treasure chests.
  • Create the backstory for your world and its characters with help from your AI partner.
  • Build an interactive digital scene where you can click to explore your world and meet your characters.
  • Final Project: A clickable, interactive world! You’ll build a main scene with your AI-generated art, and then add hotspots that let you navigate and discover the cool characters and items you designed

Students need to prepare their Laptop (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]. iPad is also applicable.

STEM

Blockbuster Creator: Minecraft Movie Maker

Ages 9-11 Years

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in “Minecraft Movie Makers!” This thrilling experience plunges students into the vibrant realms of Minecraft, inspired by characters and settings from the highly anticipated Minecraft movie.
Throughout this immersive journey, students will unleash their creativity as they design unique characters and build custom realms. They’ll dive into exhilarating coding challenges and explore gameplay mechanics that capture the essence of the film.
But that’s not all! Aspiring game developers, designers, and artists will experience the thrill of bringing their visions to life, combining their creative flair with digital skills. By the end, students will have crafted a game filled with their own imaginative elements—one they can share and enjoy with friends and family.

The course fee includes a 1-year Minecraft account license.

Students require to bring their own Laptop and charges (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]

STEM

Young TechNovators: From Zero to Python Hero

Ages 9-11 Years

The course will focus on learning Python syntax, structure, and parameters. Students will first practice Python by creating 3 projects in the console, then finally, they will create a web app supported by the PyScript external library.

Using the BSD Online learning platform, students will be guided through learning about Python basics such as variables, data types, conditional logic, math operators, and loops. The first part of the course is designed to be self-guided, with activities to practice the syntax and using the console. Students will build a birth-date-to-now calculator and an encoder/decoder.

Students will end the course with a tech portfolio of the projects they’ve created throughout the course, and will also be able to use their new skills to move onto more complex projects in the future

Students require to bring their own Laptop and charges (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]

STEM

Minecraft Architects: Command Quest

Ages 9-11 Years

In this Minecraft Architects, students become Lead Systems Architects, using Minecraft to control the rules, logic, and commands that hold their worlds together.

Students team up to build a powerful “vertical slice” level packed with Redstone logic gates, command block tricks, and real player choices that change what happens next. They experiment with commands like teleporting, triggering events, and fixing “logic gaps” that break the game, then test, debug, and polish their builds.

By the end of camp, students record and pitch their custom world like a real game studio, showing how their code and systems stopped The Grid from collapsing. This camp is ideal for Minecraft fans who want to go beyond building and start making worlds that actually think. The curriculum follows a rigorous “”Design-Build-Test”” cycle , where students document their architectural logic in a formal Game Design Document (GDD) and pitch their final interactive systems to stakeholders using professional recording tools like OBS Studio.

The course fee includes a 1-year Minecraft account license.

Students need to prepare their Laptop (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers. Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11).

STEM

AI Game Masters: Design Your Own Adventure

Ages 9-11 Years

Go beyond just creating characters and design the actual adventure! As a Game Master, you’ll design exciting challenges, write conversations for your characters, and build the rules of the game to create a truly interactive experience.

  • Design a complete game level, using AI to create everything from the ground to the sky.
  • Write funny, serious, or mysterious conversations for the characters in your game.
  •  Map out an epic quest for players to conquer, from the first step to the final boss.
  • Use AI as your personal “”Game Master”” to create and play through a text-based adventure.
  • Final Project: A fully playable text-based adventure game, or a detailed, interactive walkthrough of a level you designed for a 2D platformer!

Students need to prepare their Laptop (Windows / Macbook) with Web Browsers [Chrome (at least version 66) /Firefox (at least version 59) / Safari (at least version 11)]. Laptop is required.
