Overview

Upper Primary Writing is packed full of interesting topics to spark creativity. Our writers will explore different writing structures, develop grammatical structures relating to specific genres, practise proof-reading and editing skills, and learn how to avoid common grammatical mistakes. They will continue the journey of self- and peer-editing and develop their creativity and imagination, focusing them on their journey to become a strong writer.
Upon completing the course, students will receive:
A progress report
A certificate
An Open Day session, during which parents are invited to join the last 20 minutes of the class at the end of the term

Compose simple, compound and complex sentences to elaborate on ideas

Practise using different sentence starters and conjunctions to form well-structured sentences and paragraphs

What you need to know...

Compulsory Book:

The curriculum is supplemented with the course book Grammar Conventions 5 (4th Edition) ($120), which will be used for the whole academic year (Term 1, 2 and 3). The course book can be purchased at the check out.
