Enrol Now!

Overview

Looking for full-day camps with both sports and languages? ESF is offering precisely that. Children between 5-11 years old can join a language camp in the morning, followed by a multi-sports camp in the afternoon for a full day of learning and fun!

Available at Renaissance College, Kowloon Junior School, South Island School

The language camps start at 9 am and finish at noon, and children have various themes to choose from, such as Journey with Eager Explorers, Primary Reader’s Theatre & Primary Writing, Spanish through Art and Culture, Primary Science (STEM) and much more!

Multi-sports camp starts at 1 pm, and they combine a range of age-appropriate activities that aim to develop a core range of skills such as fundamental motor skills through to more sophisticated game-related abilities.

*Wet camps (water play session included) are available at RC and SIS, whereas Dry camps at KJS do not include any water session. Wet camp includes a 30-minute water session everyday, but previous swimming experience is not required - children will only engage in fun activities in the pool with the support of underwater platforms. Children will need to change into their swimsuit for the water session as they will be entering the pool everyday. Please prepare a swimming suit, swimming cap, google and towels to bring to class.

Lunch Arrangement: Parents are expected to pack food for their children to bring to class every day – lunch delivery is NOT allowed. There are no microwaves / refrigerators available, so something light and easy to carry, say sandwiches and wraps for example, is highly recommended as there is a sport session after lunch. Children will be having lunch in a designated area supervised by teachers between 12 nn and 1 pm. There will be breaks during class, parents may prepare snacks for their children.

School Bus Service: School bus service is available for Full Day Summer Camps (classes start at 9am and end at 4pm) and Morning Courses (classes start at 9am and end at 12pm) at South Island School only, please click HERE for more details.

What does a wet camp look like?

Here is an example of a wet session:
Duration: 30 mins

The aim of a wet sessions is to

  1. Motivate student’s interest in Water Sports
  2. Develop social skills with water activities
  3. Build water life-saving knowledge
You don't have to worry about whether you have experience in swimming or not, just enjoy the water fun and splash on!

  •         practise phonics, pronunciation and intonation through character portrayal and presentations
  •         build vocabulary and creativity through their own script writing
  •         be immersed in a rich, English speaking environment to build their understanding, confidence and enjoyment of the language.

This course is a great opportunity for your child to develop their English language proficiency. The carefully selected scripts give students essential practice in oral reading fluency and public speaking. The scripts also provide an opportunity for group interaction and student cooperation.

This is a one week course, therefore we suggest:
