Overview

In this swimming (SW3) programme, students will focus on maintaining Freestyle and Backstroke swimming techniques while completing longer distances. Breaststroke coordination of the pull and kick are perfected. Coaches will place a strong emphasis on fundamentals skills including, but not limited to, streamlining, tumble turns, open turns, and diving.
Upon completing the course, students will receive:

Proficiency to swim Freestyle & Backstroke for 50 meters with no deterioration of stroke technique, and with proficient streamlining off the walls

Full control over Breaststroke arm movement, kick timing, and coordination

Introduction of Butterfly arm movement techniques

To swim Freestyle and Backstroke with efficient stroke technique

To learn Breaststroke coordination

What you need to know...

Remarks:

  • First-Lesson Assessment: Swimmers are assessed in the first lesson for proper level placement. Parents will be notified if a transfer is needed.
  • Class Reassignment: For safety and optimal learning, ESF Explore reserves the right to reassign students to a different class, level, or time slot at any time.
  • Schedule & Venue Changes: Schedules and venues may be adjusted for operational reasons. Parents will be notified promptly of any changes.
