Meet Ms. Rochelle: Bringing Vibrant Energy to Our Playgroup Class in Hong Kong

Meet Ms. Rochelle: Bringing Vibrant Energy to Our Playgroup Class in Hong Kong

At ESF Explore, we believe that our teachers are what make our community so special. If you are searching for a playgroup class in Hong Kong that combines a structured curriculum with a warm, engaging atmosphere, you have come to the right place

Today, we are excited to introduce Ms. Rochelle, a dedicated and long-serving educator who brings infectious enthusiasm and warmth to every session she leads. You can find her every Saturday teaching the Playgroup Level 2 Class at ESF Beacon Hill School.

The Energy That Keeps Her Young
Ms. Rochelle’s passion for teaching is deeply rooted in the happiness of her students. Her personal teaching style is full of life, making her a favorite among parents looking for an engaging English playgroup experience for their toddlers.

When asked why she loves teaching at ESF Explore, her answer is simple and heartfelt:

"The students’ joy is the rhythm that keeps me alive and youthful!"

She loves incorporating kinetic energy into her sessions to keep toddlers engaged. "I really enjoy bringing music and movement into the classroom," she adds. This personal touch ensures that her students are always active, happy, and learning through play.

Beyond the Classroom: A Teacher of Many Talents
While she spends her Saturdays leading one of our popular playgroup classes, Ms. Rochelle has a diverse set of interests and a surprising background that adds to her unique character.

  • A Hidden Talent: She is skilled in contemporary dance, which explains her energetic teaching presence!
  • The Crown: In a surprising twist, Ms. Rochelle used to compete in pageants and was fortunate enough to win the crown.
  • Active Hobbies: In her free time, she stays active by swimming and indulges her love for discovery by thrifting for hidden gems.

Real Moments: The "Inside-Out" Shirt
Working with young children is always full of surprises. Ms. Rochelle recalls a memorable and hilarious moment that reminds us that even the most dedicated teachers have relatable "oops" moments.

"There I was, during circle time, when a parent walked up to inform me that my shirt was actually inside out," she laughs.

It is this authenticity and warmth that makes her such a beloved part of the ESF Explore team. We are thrilled to have her dedication and spirit inspiring our youngest learners.
