Overview

STEAM Junior Foundation places your child at the heart of an exciting, story-driven mission that blends LEGO robotics, beginner coding with Scratch Jr, and hands-on Science experiments into one continuous adventure. Children become “Junior Astronauts” exploring space, then “Junior Athletes” discovering how their bodies move and stay healthy — building, coding, and experimenting their way through each themed mission. Every lesson connects a hands-on build or experiment with a simple coding challenge, helping children develop engineering thinking, early computational logic, and scientific curiosity in a way that feels like play. This course is perfect for children aged 5–6 with no prior coding or robotics experience required.
Upon completing the course, students will receive:

Highlights & Outcomes

Apply force, motion, and simple machines concepts (gears, levers, motors) to real LEGO builds

Create simple programmes and animations using Scratch Jr, including loops and event-based logic

Carry out hands-on science experiments and record and compare observations

Practise the Build-Test-Refine engineering cycle through repeated hands-on challenges

Develop early computational thinking through coding challenges connected to a story

Build confidence presenting and explaining their own builds and programmes to others

What you need to know...

Compulsory Equipment:

Students need to bring their own iPad on lesson days where Scratch Jr coding & LEGO Programming is used. No device is needed for hands-on science lessons. All LEGO and Science Lab materials are provided by SUP Education. LEGO are only be used during the class. Both Apple/ Android devices are compatible. All the apps are free to install. Detail installation guide will be provided after enrolment.
