Spring Sensation - Kindergarten English (Unaccompanied)
Spring into life and join us for an exciting week of fun and adventure as we explore a variety of super stories. This course uses drama, games, story books and art to develop language skills with a particular focus on building confidence and communicating in English.
In Spring Sensation, students will:
● Explore stories from well loved early years authors such as Jez Alborough and Eric Carle
● Use role play to explore topics and bring characters to life
● Unleash imagination and creativity through art and discovery
● Be immersed in a rich, English speaking environment to build their understanding and enjoyment of the language
This course is a great opportunity for your child to develop their communication and language skills. Through a range of engaging and fun activities, Spring Sensation builds confidence in a number of vital skills such as speaking and collaborating with others.

Kindergarten Mandarin
This course uses drama, games, story books, art to develop language skills with a particular focus on building confidence and communicating in Mandarin.
Students will:

● Develop confidence for primary school interviews
● Be immersed in a rich, Mandarin speaking environment to build their understanding and enjoyment of the language

Join us for an enchanting journey in our Imagination Station programme, where creativity meets sustainability! Children will explore their imagination, transforming everyday materials into magical creations that spark joy and innovation. They'll learn the basics of planning and design, turning their ideas into actionable projects. As they document their creative processes, they'll develop essential writing skills and construct their masterpieces using recycled materials. Watch your child thrive in a fun environment that fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and a love for the planet—all while having a blast!

Drama
Drama Loop (6-8 years)
Combining acting, music, movement and theatre-crafts, students will study an engaging theme and become the characters of the story. There will be a live performance at the end of the course.

Upper Primary Debate - Debate & Dialogue
Debates are fun and engaging activities that exercise the brain to use all four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, sometimes concurrently.
In this course, students will:
● Understand how debating works, what the rules are and how to debate effectively
● Use formal language, persuasive techniques and connectives in a speech
● Structure ideas on a given topic, using evidence and examples to enhance arguments
● Develop critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills
● Learn to express themselves confidently, coherently and assertively
This course is suitable for students who are new to debating and those who have already developed a taste for debating in their primary schools. It can also prepare them for a variety of opportunities that they will come across in their secondary schools.

Transform your public speaking journey through our dual-focused programme that combines the prestigious LAMDA Speaking in Public foundation with the dynamic storytelling style of TED talks. Perfect for teens, this course helps students build confidence while mastering essential presentation skills.
Students will discover:

● Managing stage presence and body language
● Using voice effectively through pitch, pace, and tone
● Handling impromptu speaking challenges with confidence

This programme empowers students to speak about what matters to them, whether it’s climate change, technology, art, or social justice. They will learn to transform their interests into compelling presentations that can influence and inspire others.
For students interested in formal speech qualifications, this course provides an excellent foundation in the fundamental techniques used in LAMDA Speaking in Public examinations. The skills developed align with LAMDA’s respected speaking curriculum, offering a pathway to future qualification opportunities.
Our integrated approach means students don’t just prepare for exams – they develop real-world communication skills that will serve them throughout their academic and professional lives.

Swimming Clinics
Beginner Level (SW1B to SW1A, Ages 3-7)
Sharks swimmers aim to achieve water confidence and awareness through repetitions over a consistent period of time. Children will learn breath control, floating, and arm movement, streamlined kicking, kicking on a board, submersion drills, reflex action, and survival skills. The coaching team teaches lots of kicking drills to develop a very strong “motor” for both freestyle and backstroke. Comfortable, well-balanced head and body positions are taught at the Beginner Level.
Improver Level (SW2 to SW2A, Ages 5-9)
The focus is also on short-distance drills to achieve straight arms, super-stretch freestyle and backstroke, and advanced deep water awareness activities. Correct side breathing technique in freestyle is now taught and now that children have perfected a streamlined head and body position. More backstroke drills and breaststroke kicks are introduced. The coaching team will slowly start longer distances with focusing on efficient stroke technique.
Advanced Level (SW3 to SW5, Ages 7+)
With a good foundation in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke techniques, the coaching team will introduce advanced stroke technique drills and start distance swimming. Butterfly skills and drills will be developed while race dives, turns and push-offs are further advanced. Maintaining an excellent stroke technique and introducing the squad works to be ready for the competitive level.

Football Clinics
Beginner Level 1 (FBCU7, Ages 5-6)
Designed for young children starting to learn football. Through fun games and activities, players will develop essential skills. It's ideal for kids with no prior experience.
● Engage in dynamic and imaginative football-related activities.
● Ensure each child receives a football to maximise ball contact time.
● Develop essential fundamental football skills.
● Introduce challenging activities to push boundaries.
Beginner Level 2 (FBCU9, Ages 7-8)
For students with basic football experience. This programme helps young players enhance their skills. It’s a great opportunity for children to learn more and practice specific skills, with one-on-one activities and small matches.
● Engage in 1v1 attacking and defending scenarios.
● Foster intrinsic motivation for both football and an active lifestyle.
● Strengthen the players' overall comprehension of football.
● Prepare young football players through small side games and mini-matches
Improver Level 1/2 (FBCU11/FBCU12, Ages 9-11)
Designed for players with basic experience and looking to improve their football skills. It focuses on enhancing speed, quickness, and technical movements through fun and challenging activities.
● Implement teaching through mini-football matches.
● Drive improvement in the standard of play.
● Engage in high-intensity football activities to enhance fitness levels.

Multi-sports Camp
Discover the perfect blend of fun and learning at our Multi-Sports Camps, where children can explore a variety of sports in a safe and enjoyable environment. Our programme is designed to cultivate skills, boost self-confidence, and ignite a passion for sports through dynamic, game-based activities.
Foundation (SC0, Ages 3-4)
Focus on enhancing fundamental movement skills while introducing essential sports-specific skills, laying a strong foundation for future participation.
Beginner to Improver (SC1-2, Ages 5-8)
Through engaging activities, children will explore both familiar and new sports, building their physical competence and self-esteem.
We will introduce your child with a socially positive experience, increasing their love of sport and improving their sporting skills all through the medium of fun and game-based development.

Basketball Clinics
ESF Tigers are offering basketball clinics to all levels of basketball playing ability.
For beginners/younger players we focus on the core skills needed to become a good basketball player. Dribbling the ball with your head up, being able to use the left and right hand. Passing, Catching, Shooting, and Footwork. All in a fun, challenge, and game based environment.
For more experienced players our coaches will help develop their fundamental basketball skills and basketball IQ using a range of different coaching techniques like blocked practice, serial practice, random practice, and deliberate practice, with varied levels of contextual interference (CI). We believe this mixed in with some constraint-led approach (CLA) training, and teaching games for understanding (TGfU) can help create a more free-thinking and dynamic player rather than a robotic one. All while keeping the energy, challenge, and fun levels high!

Pickleball Clinics
Our pickleball clinics are designed to be enjoyable, inclusive and effective. We aim to foster a love for the sport while promoting physical fitness and social interaction.
Beginner Level 1 (PBC1A, Ages 5-6)
● Introduction to pickleball, rules, and basic safety guidelines through fun games and activities
● Basic strokes (forehand and backhand), paddle grip, and footwork using age-appropriate equipment and drills
● Simple drills and games to reinforce basics, including toss, relay, and target hitting
● Introduction to serving techniques and return of serve through games and partner activities
● Introduction to volleys and overhead shots
● Small-sided games and activities to develop tactical understanding and teamwork
Beginner Level 2 (PBC1B, Ages 7-8)
● Review of basics and introduction to advanced techniques through drills and mini-games

Our clinics are designed to develop your child's fundamental gymnastics abilities through skill-building on the floor, beam, and vault.
Beginner (GYC1, Ages 5-6)
Focus on fundamental movement skills and basic gymnastics techniques:

Fencing Clinics
Watch your children transform with the fencing mentors at ESF! Our Fencing Clinics is designed specifically for beginners or those who have been learning for less than a year.
In this programme, designed by two-time Olympian Lau Kwok Kin, students will learn the art of the sword with confidence, mastery, and discipline. Under the guidance of our
experienced coaches, players will be introduced to the fundamentals of fencing, including
sport techniques and competition rules.

Spring Sensation - Playgroup (Accompanied)
Our play-based learning approach allows our youngest students to develop their curiosity and build early skills in a safe, comfortable environment. Through the exploration of spring-themed stories and rhymes, students will participate in a variety of hands-on activities to develop their fine motor and gross motor skills, cognitive and language development, and through our sensory activities they will have some messy fun!

Spring Sensation - Little Explorers (Unaccompanied)
Let us take your children on a spring adventure this April where we will immerse ourselves in a world of stories, art exploration and singing.
From observing little bugs to growing plants, your children will explore all the wonderful things Mother Nature has to offer this spring. “Little Explorer” is the perfect programme for those willing to get ready for unaccompanied pre-nursery and kindergarten, and to experience learning and socialising through ESF’s play-based curriculum, in a safe and supportive environment.

Drawing Intensive with Esther Chow
This Drawing Intensive course is for anyone who wants to learn how to draw and develop confidence in drawing. No experience or prior skills are needed! This course draws heavily from the tools and strategies of Dr. Betty Edward’s New York Times best-selling book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain,” coupled with strategies from other master artists who draw from observation.
We will learn the 5 perceptual skills:
● Perception of Edges
● Perception of Space
● Perception of Angles and Proportions
● Perception of Lights and Shadows
● Perception of the Whole (integration of the above skills.)
Each session starts with a short presentation followed by step-by-step demonstration for each skill. Students will work on fun and engaging exercises designed to access and activate the right brain to learn how to draw and see differently. Students will go home with a portfolio of drawings and a self-portrait.
The skills are straightforward and they can be perfected with practice, just like any other skills. Progress can be dramatic!

The TechConnected projects guide students through the creation of useful tools like a
simple infographic, a timeline, a digital diary and other types of creative media. For example, students can make a timeline related to their interests and hobbies. Along the way, students will gather experience and practice in applying their emerging coding skills in using HTML and CSS.
This course is also a perfect development experience for students who joined winter camps
to advance themselves and deepen their HTML and CSS skills and knowledge.
Learning Highlights:
● Explore JavaScript-based video game development and play-test example games to understand best approaches for 2D game design.

Around the world, major cities are being transformed into smart cities, improving the urban
environment for citizens, visitors, and businesses, boosting sustainability and efficiency . In
this course, students will learn and ideate their own design then build parts of a smart city to
solve issues such as improving energy efficiency, quality of life and increasing safety just to
name a few. In addition to the autonomous vehicle course, students will gain a comprehensive and holistic understanding of a true smart city.

Game Development 101: Start Your Tech Journey as a Game Developer!
Game Development 101 is an interactive course where students explore the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for game creation. Throughout the course, students learn by doing, creating games and interactive experiences that showcase their newfound knowledge. They receive feedback and guidance from instructors to refine their projects and deepen their understanding of game development. The course concludes with an exciting game jam, where students collaborate in teams to develop fully functional games within a set time frame, providing a taste of the dynamic game development
industry and fostering teamwork skills. By the end of Game Development Fundamentals, students will have a strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for game development. They will be equipped to continue exploring the world of game creation, ready to design, develop, and bring their own game ideas to life.

mTiny & Spike Essential - a combined programme using mTiny and Spike
Embark on an engaging, hands-on adventure where your children will learn the basics of coding through the power of icon blocks, interactive robots and Lego building.
mTinyallows the children to learn the basics of coding with icon blocks. Children will use a Tap Pen controller to learn about robotics and coding.
Spike combines creativity with coding. First, your child will construct amazing Lego creations and develop their fine motor skills at the same time. Then, using an iPad to code, they will bring these creations to life! Children will learn basic mechanic concepts through this Lego coding experience.
With both screenless and iPad-based options available across the week, your child will have the opportunity to explore coding across different platforms and a variety of themes.
